KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests, staff, and property. You will maintain a high level of visibility, enforce hotel policies, and respond promptly to incidents or emergencies.
Your key duties will include:
- Patrolling hotel premises and facilities to maintain a secure environment
- Monitoring CCTV systems and conducting routine security checks
- Handling trespassers, parking violations, and unsafe driving
- Performing security screening and baggage checks as needed
- Responding to fire alarms and emergencies, investigating causes and ensuring follow-up
- Assisting guests and colleagues with first aid and emergency care
- Writing daily reports and communicating security-related concerns to relevant departments
- Collaborating closely with all hotel teams to uphold safety standards
- Representing the Sofitel brand with professionalism, empathy, and care
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Who We’re Hiring

- Prior experience in hotel security or safety (luxury setting preferred)
- Valid First Aid and CPR certifications (Advanced First Aid an advantage)
- Fire safety/firefighting training is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong conflict resolution and decision-making abilities
- Professional, courteous, and calm under pressure
- Flexible availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Fluent English; other languages an asset
- Physically fit and capable of performing patrol duties
