They are looking for skilled, detail-oriented, and motivated individuals to join their team.
This is a permanent, full-time role with an hourly rate of $25.20 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Truck Driver, your tasks and responsibilities will include the following:
- Drive lighter, special purpose trucks.
- Load and unload goods.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
- Perform preventive maintenance.
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Follow company guidelines and safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering parts as needed.
Job Requirements:
The company is seeking individuals who have the following traits:
- A valid driver’s license (Class 1 or A).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in truck driving is preferred, but training will be provided.
- Reliable and punctual with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
