We are currently hiring a Crane Operator for our operations in Toronto, ON. We are looking for detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and motivated individuals to be part of our workforce.

This is a permanent, full-time role with an hourly rate ranging from $30.00 to $38.00 per hour (to be negotiated). The work is to be completed on site and there is no option to work remotely. The work environment is dusty and relocation costs are covered by the employer. Key Responsibilities:

As a Crane Operator, your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Operating mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment.
  • Conducting pre-operational inspections and calculating crane capacities and weight limitations.
  • Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on crane equipment.
  • Coordinating with ground crew and other workers to ensure safe lifting operations.
  • Reading and interpreting load charts, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Completing job reports and maintaining records of operations.
  • Providing guidance and training to apprentices as needed.
  • Adhering to all company policies and safety procedures.

Job Requirements:

National Crane Inc. is looking for individuals with the following qualifications:

  • A valid Crane Operator Trade Certification (Mobile or Tower Crane Operator preferred).
  • Red Seal Certification is an asset.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in crane operation.
  • Strong problem-solving and spatial awareness skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and precision.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • A valid driver’s license.

  • Boom Truck Crane Operator Trade Certification
  • Mobile Crane Operator Trade Certification
  • Tower Crane Operator Trade Certification
  • Mobile Crane Operator Red Seal Certificate
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
