Key Responsibilities
As an Electrician at British Gas, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out domestic electrical repairs, fault-finding, and rewires
- Supporting customers with same-day service delivery where possible
- Diagnosing issues and ensuring safe and compliant repairs
- Promoting British Gas energy solutions with professionalism
- Delivering excellent customer service on every visit
- Working independently while upholding safety and quality standards
Required Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- City & Guilds 2365 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent) with AM2 Certification
- City & Guilds 2382 (IET Wiring Regulations – BS 7671)
- Minimum of 2 years qualified experience in domestic electrical work
- City & Guilds 2391.52 (or equivalent) is desirable
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement
