Key Responsibilities
As a Mechanic, your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
- Testing automotive systems and components
- Performing scheduled maintenance services
- Repairing or replacing mechanical units or components
- Estimating parts and labour costs for vehicle repairs
- Road testing motor vehicles and adjusting units to specifications
- Reviewing work orders and confirming repair plans with supervisors
- Advising customers on completed work and future maintenance needs
- Completing reports to record problems and services performed
- Coaching and instructing apprentices
- Providing excellent customer service

Required Qualifications
Rexdale Auto Centre are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2–3 years of mechanical repair experience
- Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
- Physically capable of performing manual tasks and standing for extended periods
- Dependable, punctual, and client-focused
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
