Key Responsibilities
As a Dog Groomer at Dog Station Grooming Training & More, your responsibilities will include:
- Bathing and shampooing dogs of all breeds
- Clipping and styling animal coats according to breed standards or client requests
- Performing nail trimming and coat maintenance
- Cleaning ears and teeth
- Conducting anal gland treatments and flea baths when required
- Ensuring animal comfort, safety, and hygiene throughout the grooming process
- Booking appointments and managing basic receptionist duties
- Performing cashiering and customer service tasks
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized grooming environment

Required Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Training or certification in dog grooming (trade certificate or diploma)
- Experience grooming dogs (an asset but not required)
- Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds and temperaments

- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Physically able to perform grooming tasks throughout the day
