KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Dump Truck Driver at Smart Home Builder, you will be responsible for:
- Performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Overseeing the overall condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
- Planning or adjusting routes using GPS or navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
- Receiving and relaying information to central dispatch
- Addressing customer complaints or concerns professionally
- Demonstrating professionalism in customer service
- Paying and receiving payments for goods when required
- Calculating the cost of truck repairs and replacement parts if needed
- Performing preventive maintenance and reporting mechanical issues

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates will demonstrate experience or familiarity with:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
- Be willing to train (previous experience not required)
- Hold a valid Class 3 / 3F / DF Licence (vehicles with more than 3 axles)
- Hold a valid Class 5 / 5F / G Licence
- Communicate effectively in English
- Maintain a clean driving record (abstract required)
- Be reliable, responsible, and safety-focused
- Work independently and as part of a team
