Key Responsibilities
As a Plant Maintenance Worker at Sambro Fisheries Limited, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing safety and security checks across the facility
- Supervising other workers when required
- Moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
- Operating and maintaining power tools and plant equipment
- Conducting maintenance in specialized areas such as plumbing, painting, and carpentry
- Ensuring operational efficiency in factory and commercial settings
- Addressing safety hazards and ensuring compliance with industry standards
Required Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience
- Comfortable working under pressure and handling heavy loads
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Strong communication skills in English
- Demonstrated dependability, initiative, and good judgment
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Must pass a criminal record check
- Own steel-toed safety boots required
